This is a peaceful spot and is popular for fishing and bird-watching. Annual trout stocking has made McQuillan Lake a popular spot for year-round fishing. Lake Location : 12 miles southeast of Coaldale with campground facilities close by. Campground Location : The facilities can be reached by turning off Highway #3 onto Secondary Highway #512 about 6 miles east of Coaldale. Continue east from the four-way stop at Readymade for another mile and then proceed south 3.5 miles. Camping facilities are available across the road at Indian Hills Golf Course
